What a cost English feel pub. To add to atmosphere the England vs France rugby game was being screened.
A nice place but they had no draft beer, then they delivered our food and 1 meal was uncooked. Rather spoiled our stay, breakfast was very good and room was clean and comfortable. Will avoid the meal next time.
Relatively quiet on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered three main courses and beers and sat down to wait for the food. Big mistake. After half an hour and noting that the lady opposite was patiently waiting for nothing more complicated than ice-cream for her children, decided something amiss. Apparently short staffed. Food order sometime never. Gave up the ghost got refund and left. Won't be returning there sometime soon. Recommend you do the same
Arrived for a late lunch at 2.20pm. Not a particularly busy time. Waited 30 minutes for meal to arrive. Then noticed other tables before us were still waiting to be served. Our neighbouring table left without completing their meal. We cancelled our order and the money was kindly refunded. Allegedly the was a staff shortage. Would like to try another time.
Great hotel and venue. Really helpful team and good event management staff. Good food nice atmosphere and locations inside and outside for wedding photos.
