BEWARE!!! This shop charges 25% restocking fee if you decide to return a faulty poor quality item. They do not warn you when buying in store. Avoid this store and buy elsewhere online!!We were shown lamps in a catalogue which they said they could order for us, they didn't mention anything about refund / delivery/ restocking Ts&Vs.The lamp took months to arrive and when it did the base was broken and the hinges did not lock in place, meaning the lamp head would just fall downwards. For the money we paid it was really poor quality. The lady in the store tried to initially convince us it was not broken, then tried to convince us we should let their electrician have a look at it. I explained I didn't want a lamp welded back together, the quality was so bad we could see it would constantly have issues. The lamp colour finish was also different to what she had said it would be. We just wanted a refund. This is when we we're shocked to hear they keep 25% of what we paid as a re -stocking fee!!! We are out of pocket without a lamp. Do not trust the people in this shop. Once they have your money they are ruthless!AVOID AT ALL COST!
Disappointing customer service. I needed a replacement part for a lamp I bought from them a couple of years ago and which they still have on display in the shop. Initially was told that their supplier didn't have any spares but I called the supplier who did have spares but told me to order through the retailer, which was fair enough. I then called Lampwise who then told me they no longer had an account with the supplier so couldn't help with the supply of the replacement part. End of story as far as Lampwise was concerned although they did offer 10% discount on the one they'd had on display in the shop for several years. I then called the supplier again, explained the situation and they agreed to supply direct to me. I now have the part and it's fitted but no thanks to Lampwise. I've bought several light fittings from them in recent years and the service has generally been poor in the sense that they always say that they will call you when the items are in the shop but in my case they never have. I've always had to call them. Also often delivery has taken longer than quoted. So unfortunately I won't be using Lampwise again.
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE....AT ALL. I telephoned the store and spoke to a nice lady and explained why i was ringing, and was call was rudely cut off.. I then rang back to ask for PAM, and she was the one who answered. She was not very polite, and asked me why i hadn;t replied earlier to her regarding employment, i said that l had a family death and she was not helpful at all. VERY RUDE!!!!
I was looking for an unusual light bulb & I got great help, great customer service & the bulb. :-) very happy customer here. Worth going out my way to go there.
I ordered a light on line which arrived very quickly. I had the light installed and after about a month the light stopped working. I contacted Lampwise and explained my problem, very quickly and very professionally they sent out a new replacement light which is now installed and working perfectly.The help and support Lampwise gave me was more than satisfactory, there are companies out there that just take your money and give no customer support, Lampwise are not one of them.If you are thinking of replacing lights in your home, without any doubt I would recommend Lampwise, great products and fantastic customer support. 5 stars are not enough, I would have given them 10.Thank you once again.
